Dual monitor setup question

I recently bought another monitor for my rig and I'd like it to be the website part of when I'm gaming.

So basically, have one monitor for gaming and one monitor for perusing the game wiki, pandora, etc.

My question comes to this: how should I hook up the second monitor? to my Evga 670 or to the intel output of my 3570k?

Which is better or makes more sense? Or should I hook both up to my GPU?

Was that clear enough???

Thanks guys!!!

You won't be able to game in full screen and at the same time browse the web. You can keep a page open on the other monitor but you wont be able to manipulate without ALT+TAB and minimizing the game.

Oh and to answer your question your output on the evga should be fine as a second display port

Yeah, I knew about the alt-tab, I was thinking of maps and such being open so I can in-game follow the other monitor.

I was figuring by attaching 2nd monitor to the Intel output it would thus not hurt in-game FPS as it wouldn't be drawing off the same source. Correct, no?

Thanks for the reply though!!!

Cheers.

I've done it both ways and it didn't make any real difference. Try it both but I bet you don't see any difference either.
