dual monitor setup is great!

xiety has dual samsung 17" LCDs that are pretty sweet

too bad they don't have DVI inputs, the one looks kinda funny with the DVI->Analog convertor (kinda blurry)

I concur. I had dual monitors, but now cuz of space restrictions I don't. LCD monitors are definitely in the future or maybe just one of each. Is there a good LCD that's good for the occasional game or two? I have yet to research in depth on the topic.

I had Dual monitors n i didn't like it.

My mouse would end up on the other screen while gaming and when i would click "poof" if would minimized me outta games all the time till i finnaly unplugged the sucker. It;s really annoying, especially FPS.

But if you don't play many games the extra desktop space is great.

I've been addicted to multiple displays since I got away from Teletypes. (Though I guess those were multiple-displays, too: one that was printing and the others that were the piles of paper that had already been printed.)

It's nice that multiple-display support is built into off-the-shelf operating systems now. In the first decade or so after I migrated from minicomputers (where you could put as many dumb terminals on your desk as you wanted) to the PC world, it took some extra effort to get software to support more than one display, but it could be done. Don't think I could stand working on one display now...unless it was really wide.

I use dual screens at my tech support job...what sucks is that one monitor is a nice, new, sharp dell...the other is a couple years old and an offbrand. When I started the refresh rates and the resolutions were set differently on the two monitors and it gave me a MAJOR headache. I've tweaked a little since then.

My next rig is going to be dual lcd. I'm getting a little anxious to buy it now but I'm trying to hold off until later this year. I played with one at a friend's office and really like the set up. He had dual 19" lcd and I'll probably get the same. All that real estate is sweet.

I've got 3 19inch CRTs on my desk here ... and I love having all the screen real estate ... (dual monitors on this box, and then a single monitor on my linux box)

I'm putting off my second Dell Ultrascan P1110 until sometime around the end of this year when I have to be stuck inside anway. Having dual 21" monitors will be sweet though 🙂 Although I will have to build a bigger desk...
