Dual monitor set up

Dose NVidia GPu's work OK with dual monitors or will I have to stick with AMd if I want to use more than one monitor?

yes it was i have only ever use one monitor before was thinking of getting a second one but have no clue on how to make it work on a Nvidia card

You dont need to use NV control panel for multiple monitors, windows does it all unless you are talking about surround gaming where only 1 or 3 screens is possible.
In fact, (6 & 7 series) NV actually supports up to 4 screens in 2D and in 3D, you can have 3, with the 4th and a monitor screen.

OK thanks but what type of cables would I need, I will have only one display port , one hdmi and 2 different types of DVI output/ inputs on the vid card

Also you can use more than one video card. If you have a video card now (maybe Nvidia), perhaps you can add another Nvidia card so they both work on the same Nvidia software drivers.
