Im trying to set up dual monitors for the first time, and im running into some problems. Basically what i am trying to do is get my secondary monitor to just basically play movies, and use AIM with. when i plug both monitors in, i can see my wallpaper on the second monitor, but it wont let me move my mouse over there, and there is no toolbar, just the wallpaper. Im trying to figure it out so i can use my second monitor for movies, but i just cant seem to get it to work. 🙁

rig in sig. thanks guys

I'm assuming you're using Nview. If so, make sure you have monitor picture placement in Nview in correct order. You can click and drag monitor 1 and 2 and move them around. This should solve your mouse movement to the second monitor. As for toolbar on the second monitor, I don't believe Nview offers toolbar on both monitor. Only one from what I remember. Ultramon will let you have toolbar on both monitors but that program cost $40 which is a ripoff IMO.

Just keep playing around with Nview settings. It's really easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Set up the Monitors the way you want them in Sys Props and they will be #'d. Make sure they are enabled and downloading UltraMon will make it simpiliar to arrange.
