my comptuer has a geforce2mx 400 with a 17" monitor, running windows 2000

i have an extra (old) video card laying around.. i think its like a 4 or 8mb card, and an extra 15" in monitor.

i was thinking about using the extra card and monitor for a dual display setup--- but i'm not sure if it would effect my performance or mess me when playing games or anything like that.

any thoughts, or should i be okay with this setup?
 
ya you should be fine.

Just remember to set the primary video device to PCI in ur BIOS.

If ur using win2k, you can set ur agp to primary in windows.
