dual monitor question

i have a radeon ve and windows98se. no problems, i can extend my desktop to the second monitor.

my friend has the same card, and windows 2000. he can't do anything other than duplicate his desktop to the 2nd monitor....

can anyone help???

perhaps the radeon's win2k support doesn't allow anything other than cloning the display?

you should see if there are any win2k facts on the radeon's site
 
i have been, and still am, mucking around their site... no info as yet.

am hoping someone here knows if/how it can be done...

 
Oh crap, I just ordered one of these, hoping to use it for dual-display in Windows XP? Am I out of luck? I hope not :Q
