dual monitor question

i have a old 15 inch LCD monitor lying around that im not using currently. today i got the brilliant idea to hook it up to my main PC so i can have dual monitors! :Q

but i have a couple of questions first:

1. can i have the 15 inch display the desktop and the 19inch display a game or other app im running? or do they both display the same thing?

2. the 15 incher is only 1024*768 resolution, the 19inch is 1280*1024. is that a problem?

thanks 🙂

Regarding #1, you can easily hook up both monitors assuming you have the output on your video card. You can have the same image on both or have separate images on both. I wonder why you want the same image on two screens? Having two monitors is great, you can have email open on one screen and a spreadsheet or web page on another.

No problem also on having different resolutions on both. Your 19" will have a lot more screen space but the 15" can stil hold it's old image. Try it out and see what you think!
