Displaying video stretched across 2 screens....how do I do it? I know it invovles using the setting to stretch my desktop across the 2 monitors (2560x1024 resolution) But there's some setting i need to Change. Don't tell me it's not possible becuase i did it once with VLC media player but now I can't do it again 🙁

EVGA GeForce 6800GT
Dell 1905FP LCD
FujiPlus 19" LCD

I have the current Nvidia drivers installed and I tried changing the overlay settings but they are very limited...but no real settings that do much that help 🙁 Any info will help...and I know like I said, this has probably been asked upwards of 1,000,000 times 🙂 Thanks in advance!

Go to your nVidia display settings, and go to the Desktop Managment selection. On the right, enable nView. That should give you the options to control both LCDs and set them the way you want.

I did...but what option do I choose under Nview that will allow this to work?

The option is called Dual-View. If you run the setup wizard it should take care of the messy parts for you.

which setup wizard would that be? I know its called "Dual View"....like I have the desktop stretched across the 2 screens (it thinks its one Monitor with a resolution of 2560x1024)...the problem is that the video will only display half on one monitor...it does not sretch across the both

When you select Desktop Management on the left there will be two fields to your right, nView Desktop Manager at the top and nView Desktop Manager wizard right underneath it. Once you enable nView Desktop Manager, right under it hit the "Setup Wizard" button to start the wizard. This should guide you on setting whatever dual monitor configuration you want.

*This is using the 77.72 drivers.

ok...so RIGHT NOW...im watching Family Guy MPEG4 Videos split across the 2 monitors....but when I put a DVD in and play it with the same player...it doesnt work 🙁 WTF

but when I put a DVD in and play it with the same player...it doesnt work WTF

Make sure the player software is configured to use VMR9 instead of overlay for DVD playback.
