So I am running dual 2001FPs, with a Radeon x800 pro. When I play a DVD I can only have the video on one screen. If I try and expand it on to both, half of itis black. Is there any way to output the video so that it spans both screens in a sort of 'wide screen' mode?

TIA

I believe the overlay can only be on one screen at a time.

In WMP settings you can turn off the 'use video mixing renderer' option to get it to work, but it was taking up 60-70% of my CPU (Barton 3200+, 1 gig of ram). It also made the video a bit pixelated :p

Ah well, I'll keep looking for other options I guess.

Won't the ratio look weird? I tried to do it w/ PowerDVD on a pair of 18" LCDs, can't get over the border in the middle.

even if it works..it doesn't fit. too wide..not enough height. so not only do u have a huge gap dead center, but it doesn't even fill both. its why one big monitor is superior to two smaller ones

Did this before, the trick is setting the hardware acceleration setting all the way to the left, aka none.

This will allow it to span both monitors.
