Dual Monitor Question

Im thinking of hooking up my other monitor to this computer and was wondering if there are any drawbacks. Would this decrease my videocard performance, for example would it split the 128mb into 64mbs for each monitor or would it stay the same.
Is there anything i should know before doing this?

No there will be no performance degredation..
It does not take anymore than 8MB of memory to display 1600x1200x32 resolution.
