Dual monitor question again..

is there a way that I can put a taskbar on the second monitor?

What Vid card do you have ?

ie. if your vid card split the two monitor up, then no
ie. if your vid card sees one big virtual desktop, then yes

Nvidia + Matrox card can see it as 2 seperate monitor or 1 big virtual monitor..

I use all 3, Nvidia, Matrox + ATI, I hate ati right now !

So it depends on what card you got..

I have a ati 128 Xpert on the second monitor and a radeon 7200 for the first monitor.

Um. to my knowledge, since the PC see it as 2 seperate monitor via 2 seperate card. Not that I know of. Maybe someone wrote a hack for it ?

Configure your shortcut for programs to launch on whichever monitor you want

yes ultra mon is sweet. i use it and love it.

but im wounderin if i can get my sys tray on the right moniter instead of it being on the left one.

so have teh start button on 1 moniter and the sys tray on the second. is that at all possiable???

When I had my matrox 450 dual head, the taskbar only was on one screen, it didn't extend across both monitors. I could move the taskbar to either monitor by dragging it. Now I'm using a MSI Ti4400 with dual head and with this card, the taskbar extends across both monitors. It depends on your card and the software.
