I put an old ATI Mach64 2MB PCI card in my Iwill KK266 boards. The AGP card is a Radeon LE.
I found the workaround for the old ATI cards where you have to set "Init Adapter" in the BIOS to PCI from AGP, and it actually post and boots on the PCI card first, then switches to the AGP card once Windows is loaded.
Once I log in and my desktop comes up, the screen suddenly goes screwy. Everything gets messed up and icons, etc. are barely or unrecognizable, and there is no response to Ctrl-Alt-Del. Have to reboot.
I've tried three different PCI slots, downgrading the resolution and rate on the AGP card before trying the dual setup, and physical violence.
What have I missed?
Regards,
Craig
