Has anyone had any problems with a dual monitor setup with the 6800's? I am losing the signal on my primary monitor anytime I run a game or 3dmark. The monitor is going into sleep mode then will come back if I can get back to my desktop. Strange thing is it works fine when the other monitor is not hooked up. I have tried a pny 6800 ultra and a BFG 6800 OC both do the same thing.

Been enjoying dual monitor goodness with my BFG 6800 Ultra now for a week. It works well so far...no issues. Your issue is a bit strange. As an FYI, I'm using powerstrip to automatically disable the second monitor when entering a game, then it powers back up after I exit the game. Works well.

BTW, What drivers are you using?

The latest nvidia drivers 61.77. It does not matter if the monitor is disable, if it is plugged into the port it still will go out. I even swapped the monitors and ports it still does it on the primary port.

I have never seen this I am wondering if my LCD's are screwed up. One is an HP L1810 and the other is a NEC 1850E. They worked fine on my radeon cards in the dual setup. At a loss here.

Perhaps. While it would be a pain in the ass, you should try to get a couple of different monitors (even if they are CRTs) to see if the monitors are the problem. But then again, they worked on your ATI card....so I would tend to blame the card. That's very strange......

I think an OS reload may be in order, if that doesn't work then I have no idea. I will try and find some other monitors.

The monitors are not the problem nor is the video card. Tried it on another motherboard and I had no problems. I think there is a conflict or something that is the only explanation I can come up with.....

Would you believe that it may be my memory timing settings. I will further investigate this, but I think I have found the problem.
