Dual monitor problem

At work I use a dual monitor set-up & love it. Here at home I finally got around to it. Problem is the first monitor, a Dell P1130 21" CRT (Trinitron) looks great, the secondary monitor, another P1130 looks horrible. Fuzzy, blurry, so bad I can't read text.

A side note: I recently picked up 3 - 21" CRTs. Due to the fact that people are nutty about LCDs, CRTs are a steal, people can't give them away. These CRTs are beyond nice, like new, 21 inches of graphic glory, something I been wanting for years but could not afford. The games my wife & I play never looked better, jaw dropping eye-candy. My wife is very happy with hers.

The set-up. A 6800GT using dualview. Ran the wizard, selected dualview, meaning independant monitors but still spans the desktop. I game on #1 in windowed mode & use #2 for web browsing & the like. These P1130s have dual inputs & I have another computer on #2 that runs Vent, server & client, & other stuff. When I click over to the other computer, everything looks great.

Any ideas why the degradation in display?

have you tried the p1130 monitor alone? Have you swapped the monitor to the other vga port?
After you tried these things and you still notice the problem, they it is the monitor alone. If not, you may need to check the software display settings.

For the crt's, you may need to periodically degauss the monitor to fix the view. Also, you may also check the OSD for other settings.

If nothing else works, it is probably a bad monitor or the resolution you want is not compatible.
