Hello out there. I just upgraded my computer because i felt the computer started getting kinda woody. I bought the 6870 along with a 870 AM3 chipset mobo + a hexcore AMD CPU (1075t).
Before i had a 8800 geforce GFX, and i ran 2 monitors just fine. One is a PHILIPS 24", the other is a 17" PHILIPS (note that this monitor only runs VGA). I ran both monitors at with VGA -> DVI converters (VGA from the screen and then converted to DVI for the GFX).
Now when i try to connect the monitors the same way, the one plugged into the second DVI slot wont work - it simply doesnt register?! Pls help. I have tried to plug the 17" monitor into the first dvi slot, and it works just fine! Im pretty sure theres no connection problems.
