BDB do your eyes not get strained by having to move or look over so far? I guess you may have smaller LCDs. Do you have two 20" LCDs?

the dual monitors at work are turned inward.

at home, it's like - (large amount of space)

(second monitor is an old 19" CRT that I found in my parents garage... I use it for watching television on)

21 and 19 in CRTs

Doesn't seem like it strains my eyes....I can turn my head some too. 😉

I have my 19" on the left, with a 17" on the right. About 10" of space in between monitors, with them angled towards me. I don't know how a lot of you here can stand to have your monitors right beside each other with no space in between. I have never tried picturing my monitors as one wide-ass desktop, but as two completely seperate desktops with which I can work.

I've decided having dual monitors would be odd, since your center of view would be off. I think Triple monitors would be cool though, or some other odd #.

I have my Powerbook in front of me looking like this - , then I have an 1800fp plugged into it like this \. I use my Powerbook's screen for my main applications , and the 1800fp for stuff like aim, music, pron, etc.

Using dual monitors as a contiguous desktop is advantageous when using an app with a timeline, segmented progress bar or similar elements.

BTW, my primary monitor is dead on in front of me and the secondary on the right and slightly angled.
