Dual Monitor or not?

Getting a deal for two used Dell E770 Monitors (Both CRT and 17") Currently I have a 20" HP monitor (VERY GOOD QUALITY MFG in '98 though) Should I start a Dual Display setup ? Yes ohh no?
 
Dual displays was sweet... I miss it.

My setup was 2 15" LCDs though, so I still had desk space. Just have one now though
 
Hell, why sell yourself short? Go with a triple monitor setup! I would do the 20" in the middle with the 17" monitors to the left and right of it.

I still want dual Dell 2005s though.

WOW, ok right now i have a AIW 9700 pro which had only one outlet can I add like a PCI 9000 card with dual display will that work good?

I was planning on downgrading to a dual VGA display AIW 9600xt for the dual display
 
Not unless you have a good reason for it. I had duelies for awhile but it was pointless. I didn't use the second monitor. At any rate, don't get rid of your 20".
 
the dual E770s are not that great. i wouldnt give up on the 20incher. try your best to get another video card to do 3 displays.

i went to dual 20inch LCDs myself during the oct/nov dell deals.

When did 9600 AIWs come with 2 DVI outs? I thought all AIWs only have a single DVI connector?
 
dual monitors kick ass
but if anything, i would go 20" and 17", not two 17"

<------- saving for another vp191b and new vid card for dual lcds
 
Yes. I :heart: my 17" LCD + 19" CRT -- the CRT == secondary, and thanks to ultramon, all I have to do is his ctrl+alt+d and it turns off 😀
