Dual Monitor Options

I've always had nVidia graphics mainly because they were just a personal preference. I use dual monitors as I'm sure most do now days and don't know much about the dual monitor support of ATI cards. In the past their options weren't as nice as nVidia but that may have changed since the last ATI card I worked with.

I'm really in the middle of a choice between the 8800GT and 8800GTS (both G92 version) but want to make sure I'm not being too closed minded.

Any thoughts?

8800GT for sure, the 8800GTS offers 10% extra performance for usually a 25% price premium, NOT worth it. You could consider the HD3870 512mb too, a little cheaper, but also a little slower then the 8800GT, like 10%. Both will be just fine for dual monitors, but you'd have to wait for response from people who actually run dual monitors, and who have both used a recent ATI and Nvidia card to know what's better.
