Dual monitor..one goes out...

Ok so i have 2 monitors:
-(MAIN) 27" LG
-(SECOND) 20" Dell

when i connect both and start up my computer, my main monitor will show my ROG logo but it will have glitchy colors in it then when it boots to windows nothing comes on screen but windows boots and the second monitor turns on but no primary...any ideas?
 
First option Lg on dvi-d and dell on hdmi if possible. Second one if sli move dell on bottom card and lg on top. Third have dell turned off allways till pc boots.
