Dual Monitor n00b Help Please

I have a GF4Ti4400 as my main video card. That's hooked up to my HP 19" @ 1280*1024

I just got some old 14" monitor that I want to use to display MBM, and coolmon, and possibly some other things.

So I put a Matrox Millenium PCI card inside my computer, Windows recognized everything right, and loaded the drivers, but there is still nothing on my second screen. Nothing during POST either.

How do I set this up? This is my first multimon attempt. Any help would be appreciated.

Go into Display Properties and check off "Extend my Windows desktop..."

OK, I got that far. Now I can see my background on the other monitor, but now how do I start viewing stuff on it?

just drag stuff from yor 1st monitor to your second

Now do a Google search for Ultramon, its a cool little program that adds functions to a multimonitor setup. The site also has links to all kinds of information about multi monitors.
