I'm testing out a dual monitor setup on WindowsXP for the first time and I'm running into a bit of a snag. My situation is as follows:
I have an integrated SiS 650 video chipset which is capable of displaying 1280x1024@32bit. When I hook up my second video card (a 2MB trident), I do indeed have dual monitor support, however, the SiS display properties will not let me set a color depth of 32bits at 1280x1024: I'm limited to 16.
I've tried updating the drivers but that didn't seem to help. The only other thing I can think of is adjusting the agp aperture size, and possibly allowing the system to have more memory to play with? I'm not even sure that will work though but I'll give it a shot. In the meantime, any suggestions would be appreciated.
