Dual monitor lag

I just plugged another 1920x1080 to my previous monitor (1920x1080 as well) and it seems that I'm experiencing some slight lagging during multitasking apps (firefox, movies, photoshop etc). The Aero animations are not that smooth either. I have an extendible desktop spanning on both displays and they're both plugged in to a GTS250 1gb. Could it be that the GTS250 cannot handle these monitors or should I look into some driver tweaking ?

It's possible that the GTS250 can't handle it but that would surprise me. I would try different drivers, etc. I've been using dual monitors for years and the only card that ever gave me issues was a Radeon 7000 series card.

The GTS250 can handle it it's just fouled up drivers or a bad card.
