Dual Monitor Issues

i just set up my dual monitors on my ge4 ti4200, maybe someone can answer my 2 questions...

1-> when i go into a 3d game it loads my desktop on the 2nd monitor and the game on this one, how do i switch between monitors to answer messages? is there any way to just leave the 2nd monitor alone so i can just put my trillian / irc / browser on it and not have to see the entire desktop from this monitor?

2-> my 2nd monitor is on the left, is there a way to make it where i can move my mouse to the left instead of the right to access that monitor?

II don't think you can. It's not a problem with Dual Monitors, it has to do with the game. It's likely programmed so that when you click outside its "window", it minimizes and everything returns to normal. So, sorry🙁

What OS? In XP, in the Display Properties window, you can drag the monitors to arrange them to agree with their physical arrangement. It sounds like at the moment the computer thinks that the 2nd monitor is on the right of the 1st.

maybe they just alt+tab'ed really fast 🙂
