About a week ago I disconnect everything from my case to do some routine cleaning of the filters/fans/etc. Put everything back together and all of a sudden one of the ports doesn't work on my vid card. Both monitors will work, but only on one of the ports. In the display settings only one monitor is ever detected. Rig has ran great for the last year and a half with no issues until this.
Google search, and don't really see any solutions anywhere so I contact EVGA and they have me do a few things but in the end they authorize an RMA. They cross ship the other card, I just got around to putting it in and same problem with minor differences.
On bootup, "Port A" (closest to mobo) shows window startup screen and then it auto switches to port B (which is all that worked before). Port A is now dead, as I can never get it to show back up -- basically goes to sleep.
I don't know what the hell happened, but I'm at a loss on this. I've updated drivers, looked around in the BIOS, and played with settings with no luck.
Rig runs fine otherwise, just only one screen. Thoughts?
