Dual monitor help - playing a game with something else on other monitor

I am having a problem setting up my dual monitor to be able to play a game on the primary, and then keep something like my mail open in a full screen on the other. When I start CS, for instance, my mail is still open on monitor #2, but it is reduced to the far 1/4 right hand side of the screen...

Help me please!!!

see if it helps

it lets you choose screen size etc even when windows won't

You can't play a game AND do something on your secondary monitor at the same time. It just is not possible. Accept it and move on. I have.

Oh yeah.........I have UltraMon and it won't help do what you want to do, I have tried.

Thanks for the info. I have no problem accepting it. It would have been cool to do it though.
