Dual monitor gaming

I've got two monitors hooked up to my x1950xt via dvi: a 2001FP as primary, and a 2005FP as secondary. I want both monitors because some games don't support widescreen resolutions.

My main question is this: is there a way to configure (via CCC or otherwise) 4:3 resolution games to launch on the 2001FP, and 16:10 resolution games to run on the 2005FP? It's really a pain to go into the display settings and switch which monitor is "primary" in order to control which monitor the game will launch on.

Also, does anybody know of a free program to help me calibrate my monitors to similar color, brightness, etc? The 2005FP is quite a bit brighter than the 2001FP, and it'd be nice to adjust them so they have similar display performance.

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Well, I've discovered the easiest way to do this is to setup two different profiles in the Catalyst Control Center - one with the 2001FP primary, and the other with the 2005FPW primary. This way I can switch which monitor is primary pretty easily. It's still not automatic, but I'm guessing it's as close as I'm going to get.

However, now I'm running into another issue that looks to be a CCC bug. When I switch which monitor is primary, it stacks the monitors on top of each other (instead of side by side). I started another thread for that:

You can associate the profile with the application, i.e., the game. Here is an extract:

Applications: Under this tab you can associate a particular application or game with the profile. You can do this by putting a tick in the 'opens the following application, file or shortcut' box, and then inserting the full path and name of a executable or shortcut using the Browse button. I recommend you select the path to a shortcut, as the Control Center has some issues with launching certain executables properly (e.g Doom3.exe). Unfortunately this method doesn't mean that whenever you run that application or shortcut that the drivers will automatically detect this and run the appropriate profile. That would be extremely useful, but that's not what this does. The closest you can get to that sort of ease-of-use is to tick the 'Desktop Shortcut' option under the Activation tab, then save your profile. You will now find a shortcut on your desktop which, when launched, will start the application or game you've assigned to the profile, and implement all the profile's settings.
