Dual monitor effectiveness with Radeon cards.

Greetings.

I have a Radeon 9800 pro, and I'm fiddling with a dual monitor setup.

Firstly I'd like to hear from other dual-monitor users how they actually use their setup. What programs are you using on screen #1 and what programs are you using on screen #2?

What I would like to do is this:

On primary 22" monitor: watch TV through my Tv-card, use outlook, excel, and other stuff

On secondary 17" monitor: have 3d games on it and play them, or vice versa.

However, I can't seem to use either winDVR on my secondary or play 3d games on it...

Could anyone point me to some reading material on the actual limitations on what I can do with a dual monitor setup?

Some 3d games won't run at all on a duallie setup. RTCW didn't, for me anyway.

Some games won't run on the secondary - ditto some apps.

Experimentation is the only way to find out.

its good to watch tv and surf too....its just much better with two
