Dual monitor CURSOR FAILURE mystifies user

Mouse cursor does not track mouse movement on secondary monitor-cursor "jumps" and lags behind mouse movement. Web sites also jump and stutter when scrolling on 2nd monitor.

XP Pro
LAN Party mobo
2 GB Corsair DDRAM
Logitech MX500 mouse
AMD 4400+ CPU
24" x (2) Viewsonic 1920x1080 LCD flat monitors
NVIDIA 9500GT 1GB video card, DUAL DVI out
Corsair 60Gb SSD

Same cursor problem occurs on identical rig with 21.5 inch Viewsonic monitors.
Video driver is up-to-date.

BIOS is up-to-date.

Any ideas are appreciated. I am out of ideas and dont want to abandon 2nd Viewsonic monitor.
