I just got 2 19" lcd's with DVI ports. I'm currently using an old Matrox G400, which as u all know has excellent 2d display. I'd like to get a new vid card as I use FS2004 (flight sim) and the G400 cant handle the load. My questions are as follows:

1. Should I go for a dual dvi card, and if so, any recommendations? FS2004 is the only game I'd be playing on it.

2. Does any card with one VGA and DVI support multi monitor?

I'd like to stay under the $200 range (I know, cant get much for that)

Thanks a bunch!

There is a sticky at the top of this forum on this very topic.

1. Go for a dual DVI card such as a NVidia 5700, if you can find it. If not then go to answer 2.
2. IF your monitors have both VGA and DVI inputs, then any gaming card can handle it. There may be some degredation is image quality on the monitor using the VGA port.
