Currently running a QNIX QX2710 Evo II 27" 1440p LCD which i picked up from the bay a few months ago. Great monitor but I shortsightedly went for the 1 port DVI model so i could overclock if the mood struck me (it does overclock, but i haven't really bothered to overclock it short of trying it out once or twice).

Space at work has been tight, so I've opted to work from home 3 days/week to share my desk at the office. I've brought my laptop (Lenovo X240) & dock home, which supports single-link DVI & Displayport.

I see my two options as follows to get this all working without having to swap cables each day;

1) Dual-Link DVI KVM - Use a Displayport to Dual-Link DVI cable (~$100) and a Dual-Link DVI KVM ($150) to run everything to the QNIX.

2) Sell current monitor, buy one that supports more than 1 input :)

Am i missing another option here?

At $250 to adapt? Sell this monitor and buy a Qnix 320qhd got all ports and provides a bigger space for work.

Agreed, $250 just to keep using the same monitor seems a bit steep. Isn't the QNIX 320 the same resolution?
