Dual Link DVI-D Cable, Maximum resolution & frequency?

I need to get a dual link DVI cable for my 1920x1080@120Hz monitor. (BenQ XL2420T).

I've seen a whole load of sellers with descriptions like these for dual link DVI-D cables:

• The DVI-D dual link configuration provides enough bandwidth for resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and allows high speed digital transmission up to 9.9 Gbps

Or:

Resolution: 1920*1080
Frequency: 24Mhz-60Mhz

I've not seen a single seller advertising it as 2560x1600 (this is around the max for dual link right?) They also advertise maximum frequency as 60hz.

Am I missing something here? I'm really confused.

I don't think there's a need to link any more sellers, you probably get the general idea.
Thanks everyone.

120Hz. If the cable can support 2560x1600, it can support 1920x1080 at 120Hz. Single link DVI cables can't.

You mind reading the post? Sellers saying DVI-D dual link keep saying 60hz is maximum resolution?

seller doesn't know what he is talking about. If it is a dual link DVD-D cable, then it supports the resolution and refresh rate listed in the wiki. As you go up on resolution, the refresh rate it can support goes down. at 2560x1600 you can only do 60Hz. It can do 120Hz for 1920x1200.

Did you read it?

"Dual link maximum data rate is limited only by the bandwidth limits of the copper the DVI cable is constructed of and by the DVI signal's source."
