Dual Link DVI and Dual Monitors?

Is it possible to split a dual link dvi signal into 2 seperate dvi signals? I was wondering about this because the macbook pro has a dual link dvi port, and it would be nice if it could drive 2 lcds (since I don't have the 30" 🙁 ).
