dual lcd on radeon 8500

Well i got two nec 15 inch lcds hooked up to radeon 8500(one is connected directly to vga and second using dvi-vga adapter)i installed the hydravision software from ati, but i got same thing on both monitors, when i click on one its same on other monitor and i would like it to span so i can move lets say IE window on second monitor set it there and go back on first one and open up my computer and stuff like that..I hope you understand what i am saying ..But i cannot do that for some reason???

you have to change the "display" tab from clone mode and check "extend desktop" on monitor 2 in the display settings.
