dual layer dvd

I don't know. When the burners were first available people were talking about $5. Did some looking a week or two ago and it looked like the prices were even higher. The prices may never really come down before dual layer is actually supplanted by high-def DVD's, AFAIK, but I don't know. Anybody?
 
Supposedly, they can't work the bugs out of production yet and the factories make piles of coasters when making dual layer. The price will never come down until they get their yield jacked up.
 
I have a feeling we'll be buying HD-DVD-Rs before DL DVD-/+Rs are affordable at this rate, haha...🙂
