Dual layer DVD with Powerbooks?

Do I understand that right that the powerbook's superdrive does not have dual-layer DVD writing capability?

So, failing that I assume that I can use a USB or firewire connected drive?

Can the basic DVD making software included in Apple systems output a DVD video filesystem tree that I could then copy to a dual-layer capable computer?

Thanks, guys.

Should be possible, though it'd be easier to make an ISO image of the thing on your Apple, then transfer and burn on another system with a DVD burner.

I'm not sure if this is legit, but I came across THIS on ebay. I'm not sure if they come pre assembled with one though.

Yeah..the Powerbooks don't support it from the get go yet. I just checked out Apple's site. I have an iBook and want to upgrade. I found a place that has dual layer drive, shipping, and installation for about $360. The shipping to and from is overnight. http://www.powerbookresq.com/detail.php?prodID=P010384 I have a combo drive and really want the dvd burner...so I am going to do it one way or the other.
