Dual Layer Burners: DVD-R??

Title is self explanatory...i know i've seen them burn at 2.4x for dvd+r, but what about dvd-r?

I think if anything can finally signal an end to this silly media war, it will be the push for DL.

Right now DVD+R is winning. But we can't crown any kind of winner until we see some media on the shelves.

Dual-Layer DVD-R is coming, Pioneer has already developed it. They just have to get final approval from the DVD Forum and to release the drive.

The fact that +R is first with Dual-Layer doesn't signal anything since the media is still hard to come by and very expensive. If the media was widely available and pretty cheap then I would agree with you that +R was likely to pull ahead.
