why are they still so expensive??? it seems like prices have stayed the same for a year

also i have another question ive seen commercials for movies coming to dvd recently and they say coming to blueray soon also

ive seen this on a couple of different commercials...i havent been following latly but i remember seeing which media hollywood would take with blueray or hd-dvd

so im guessing the chose blueray or am i wrong

sorry if this in in wrong section

what are DL layer disks these days anyway, $2ish

I'll prob get a bluray drive when they cost around $100, the disks are $1 or RW $10, and (ignoring DMCA) I have a way to backup my movies.

i mean im currently fine with the 4.7 discs but i wouldnt mind having the dl discs for data and stuff or movies like king kong that should be left in dvd9

deja vu? was somethign similar posted?

Yeah, like a day ago.

DL discs can cost between one to two dollars a piece. Sure, single layer discs cost between a quarter to fifty cents each. You pay slightly more per GB because DL discs are more useful in general. I'm sorry, but 8.5GB discs really are very convenient for backups. Using 4.7 discs is fine though, you'll just have twice as many discs to deal with

I missed the other thread, so that's my input for both
