Dual Layer 8.5gb dvd's

The dual layer disks came out a while ago and they are still very expencive? Does anyone know when and if they will come down in price? They're like $5 bucks a piece...sheesh.

They will probably always be expensive with HD DVD's and Blu-Ray comming out now.

Yes I heard rumors manufacturers aren't going to waste time and money with DL but rather skip to HD-DVD/Blu-ray
