dual input power supply

Hello frens,
I am new be in designed and development field please help me, problem is :-

I want to make power supply in which AC/ DC at same input terminal(at a time only one) and get DC output with isolation.
AC range -: 85-265 VAC
DC range -: 11-55 VDC
I knew this is possible but how? so please guide me regarding..

A number of our members are electrical engineers and technicians who could answer your question, but I'm afraid the answer would be a text book on power supply design, which would require far more space than can fit easily into one or a few replies in a forum thread.

I suggest searching for tutorials and application notes and data sheets from manufacturers of power supply semiconductor IC's and modules. Here are a few to start:
