Dual head (spanning) on 17" iMac G5?

Any iMac G5 owners or users please comment.

I'm considering purchasing a G5 but I would like to use my 19" LCD (vga - no DVI) as a 2nd monitor and have some extra desktop realestate to run apps on. According to the speculations it has an Nvidia 5200 Ultra card and this article indicates that the 5200 ultra has nView Multi Display technology.

Will this work if I purchase the Apple VGA Display adapter?
