I am looking to run two monitors from my computer. I was hoping to do it with my exisitng hardware. I have right now an ati rage IIc agp video card and a sis 6236 pci video card. The pci is not generally installed in my motherboard. When I install it It seems to disable my agp video card, or at least both the boot process and windows appear only on my pci video card.

What do I need to do to activiate both?

I am running windows 98, although if I could get this to run in 2000, I would probably switch.(been meaning to for a while now anyway)

Let me know if any more information is needed.

Thanks,

Orie

although I don't know what the problem is with your setup, i do know that it is possible to do, as I've seen it done on a friends computer. So don't give up (btw, it was done on a win2k platform as well)

I will keep trying. Would having one of the cards be newer help, or can you give me any more details about his setup?

Thanks,

In your BIOS, make sure that the primary VGA is set to PCI. On my A7V, I had the same problem...the PCI card wouldn't do anything until I set it as the primary.

Hope that helps...

Regardless as to which it is set to in the bios, only the pci video is activated....
