dual hard drive setup

I can't get my two hard drives to work. What should the IDE setting be?

the primary hard drive, set it to master

your secondary, set it to slave.

I set it uo like that but the computer only sees the primary

did you check the jumpers on your drives? most likely the second drive is also set to master. usally if you just remove all jumpers it gets set to CS (cable select) so you will get it done.
