What are the benefits? Does it run twice as well? Can you use dual GPU Video Cards on SLI boards? So you would technically have 4 GPU's?

It's much faster on the games that support SLI, SLI boards are the only place you can run them officially (ATs reporting on SLI on Ultra boards may change that) and no, only one.
