Dual Fx3700 with no SLI (dell t3400)

Hi everyone,
I am new here and fairly new with dual graphic card computers. I just bought a Dell t3400. It came with dual FX3700 graphics cards. my understanding is that the X38 chipset does not support SLI or Nvidia does not support Intel chipsets. Is there any advantage to running dual cards on seperate monitors? Or should I sell off one of my cards?

This system is used for CAD design

running a 2d scene on one display and a 3d scene on the other will have the same performance with two cards or one.

Sell one of those cards. Should be able to clear a few hundred on eBay, just look at others for pricing guidance.
