I've currently got a Dell 9300 that with GeForce 6800. This card has 2 video ports but only supports a total of 2 monitors (but my goal is to get it to support the laptop screen and 2 external monitors).
Is it true that the GeForce 6800 Ultra will support 3 total monitors, 2 external? (According to http://www.nvidia.com/object/dell_xps_gen2.html it is true, but according to Dell support it isn't).
Is it possible to upgrade my Inspiron 9300 from 6800 to 6800 Ultra or do I need to get an XPS 2 to do this? Is there any video card by ATI that will do this also that would work if the 6800 Ultra won't?
