Hi All,

Dual E5-2650s + Tesla C2075 vs Dual E5-2620s + Tesla K20...

The cost is about the same. Which one of these choices do you think would give us the most bang for our buck?

Applications:
We'll be running Matlab and various FEA software packages. One of the FEA packages we have is only 32-bit and does not have support for CUDA, however I'm wondering if the dynamic parallelism of the Kepler architecture would help give us a boost despite the software limitations. In our structural engineering research we frequently deal with Markov chains, Bayesian analysis, various gradient-based and global optimization methods, FFTs, large matrices, etc.

Other hardware/software:
We're going Windows 7 Ulitmate, 64 GB ECC memory, and 2 256GB SSDs in a RAID config; we're hoping to run Matlab off of RAMdisk. Is any of this set-up going to make the primary question a moot one?
