Hi,

I'm getting a pc through a scan.co.uk. I'm not a gamer so I don't need the best graphics card. Currently it's configured with a XFX 7900GT Extreme Edition (1500Mhz, 520Mhz) found here as this was the cheapest gfx option available which had dual dvi support.

I've read some reviews of similar XFX models, which mention that this card is fast but quite noisy (due to the fan).

I'm looking for a similar type of card, which must have Dual DVI and be relatively quiet. Don't want to blow the bank (I think 250 GBP is my limit). I don't know much about graphic cards, so any recommendations / advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
K

if your not a gamer then don't buy a 7900GT , its pretty useless.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814161002 this has a Dual-link DVI

2560x1600 = works with Dell 3007FPW and Apple :)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102033 = a better model :)

send me a pm if you want more advice ;)

I have few buddies who use a Dell 3007FPW monitor which requires Dual-link DVI card.

Do you have another uk Computer website because the website you linked doesn't give you crap all important information on the spec of the Graphic card.

You should be able to get a very decent Dual-link DVI card for $60 to $80 pound

the 7300gt has dual dvi, and it's about $100. Definetly no need to spend $250 if you're not gaming...
