Dual displays with an ATI AIW Radeon AGP and a GeForce 2 MX PCI?

First off, the monitor was my sisters until she moved on to an LCD.

Second, the Geforce 2 card is free from a friend.

I tried using the two cards at the same time in my machine but neither monitor showed anything. Does this mean that the AIW really does not want to work with both monitor dual displays or is it the fact that ATi and Nvidia really dont play nice together.
