dual displays on VIA KT133A mobo

Anyone have any idea how to get dual diplays to work on a VIA KT133A mobo in win ME? I have tried an Iwill KK266r (faulty mobo anyway), and an Abit KT7A R. My primary card is a PNY GF3 and I have tried a PNY TNT2 and a Voodoo 3 2000 for secondary cards. It always crashes after I install the 2nd card's video drivers and reboot. This setup works in w2k, but I wanted to preserve this as a gaming rig.
