I just upgraded to two screens. I noticed that my coretemp shows about 5C higher on average now, and afterburner shows about 10C higher (and not downclocking as much anymore). Does driving two displays really load things up that much more?
Another small dilemma is that my video card has DVI + HDMI + VGA but one monitor is DVI + VGA and the other is DVI + VGA + DP. The analog connection seems fine but just for the sake of it, is it possible to drive a DP input using HDMI with some sort of adapter that doesn't cost a fortune? I do see HDMI-DP cables but I'm not sure if it works with HDMI out + DP in and/or DP out + HDMI in.
